Speech Platform Of Windows IoT

Using this project to see what the speech platform can do with Windows 10 IoT Core!

Get connected

• Connect the LED like the Break your heart: Blinky project that I posted.

• Connect the Headphones onto the USB port on your device.

First feature, using Speech Synthesize Text

Click the Speak button and then you will hear the sentence is in the textbox. To read a sentence by yourself, change the textbox text.

Second feature, using Speech Synthesize SSML

SSML is the W3C speech markup, written by XML. Click the Speak button to speak the XML SSML sentence in the textbox. I recommend you don't change the textbox text because it can take an error when you click the Speak button.

Third feature, using Speech Recognition to recognize 'Yes' or 'No'

Click the With UI or Without UI to start recognize, say Yes or No then it will show what you say.

Last feature, turn on or off the LED using Speech Recognition and Speech Synthesize Text.

Click the Recognize button to start recognize what you say. Say 'Turn on the LED', 'Turn off the LED', 'Turn the LED on' and 'Turn the LED off' and then the system will tell you what you will need to do! If you say the other command, you will get an error.

Note when recognizing

Please speak clearly and don't pause. Also, be in quiet place because if you are in the noisy place, this can affect the recognition accuracy.
